We employ two primary kinds of sedation dentistry, which are:
Oral conscious sedation involves taking a small sedative pill before treatment. The strategy promotes relaxation without putting a patient to sleep. While it helps you to stay awake and follow directions, you will have little recollection of the treatment. Please ensure that you bring someone who will take you home after treatment. You should not drive after sedation.
IV sedation involves administering medicine directly into a patient’s veins to keep them asleep during the procedure. You remember a little of the appointment. We will continuously monitor your vital signs during and after dental treatment to ensure your safety. We recommend that you have a loved one drive you home following treatment.
